NCEA Level 1 Digital Technologies is designed to prepare students for NCEA Level 2 Digital Technologies. The course encompasses the Digital Technologies strand of Designing and Developing Digital Outcomes (DDDO). Some of the assessments in the course are given below:

  • AS 92007 - Design a Digital Technologies outcome (External) - 5 credits

  • AS 92005 - Develop a Digital Technologies outcome (Internal) - 5 credits

  • AS 92006 - Demonstrate understanding of usability in human computer interfaces (External) - 5 credits

Recommended Prior Learning

Completion of the Year 9 or Year 10 Digital Technologies course is an advantage, but not essential.
