Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Melissa Tsoi.
In this music course, you will explore instrumental and vocal repertoire for solo and group performances.
All performances will be done in front of an audience, giving you real-life experience.
You'll learn to compose your own original pieces and songs using genre-appropriate musical conventions.
You'll develop a strong understanding of music concepts in different styles, and Māori and one additional music context.
You'll also learn how to perform music, create original music, and recreate music in different styles, expanding your musical knowledge and skills.
Recommended Prior Learning
At least 2 years of private or itinerant music lessons.
