NCEA Level 2 Computer Studies
Course Description

NCEA Level 2 Computer Studies is designed to prepare students for NCEA Level 3 Computer Studies. The purpose of this course is for students to gain skills and standards that align with the New Zealand Certificate in Computing Level 2 (User Fundamentals). The aim of the course is to provide students with a range of introductory digital technology skills, so they can be employed in a range of general entry-level roles and contribute positively in their communities.

US 29770 - Use the main features and functions of a spreadsheet application for a purpose - 4 Credits
US 29774 - Use the main features and functions of a desktop publishing application to create documents for a purpose - 4 Credits
US 29776 - Use the main features of an HTML editor to create a website - 4 Credits
US 29777 - Use the main features of a database application to create and test a database - 3 Credits
US 29781 - Use the Internet and common digital devices and software to gather information and connect with other users and devices - 7 Credits
