NCEA Level 2 Dance
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Kerrily Aitchison.
This course builds on the knowledge and skills learnt in Level 1 Dance.
You will continue to expand your performance skills by building on genres such as Contemporary and Hip Hop as well as learning an ethnic or social dance from another culture. You will also begin to learn to critique dance works and understand what is being communicated through the body, costume and lighting.
