NCEA Level 2 Earth and Space Science
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Zev Fishman.
This course will further develop the skills you learnt in Level 1 Science Combined or Level 1 Science General, with a focus on how different planet's orientation and position in space affects the conditions on that planet, with a focus on Earth.
This course is designed to prepare students for an 03ESS course.
Recommended Prior Learning
Students will need to have passed two Level 1 Science externals, OR have been recommended by their Level 1 Science teacher.
Students coming from the double science course must have passed the 1.3 ESS assessment. Students coming from General Science will be subject to teacher approval.
