NCEA Level 2 Media Studies
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Brent Ericson.
In this course, we will learn about how media products are developed and how audiences use and consume media texts in the context of the horror genre.
Students will study narrative, close reading, and create a short, silent, horror film. Additionally, students will examine representation.
Recommended Prior Learning
You should have at least 14 credits in Level 1 History, Geography, Social Studies or English.
