NCEA Level 3 Computer Studies
Course Description

NCEA Level 3 Computer Studies is designed to prepare students for further study or general entry-level roles. The purpose of this course is for students to gain skills and standards that align with the New Zealand Certificate in Computing Level 2 (User Fundamentals). The aim of the course is to provide students with a range of introductory digital technology skills, so they can be employed in a range of general entry-level roles and contribute positively in their communities.

US 29786 - Produce a spreadsheet for organisational use - 5 Credits
US 29787 - Produce and use a relational database to provide a solution for organisational use - 5 Credits
US 29791 - Capture and prepare digital media for integration into other applications - 2 Credits
US 29785 - Use a word processing application to integrate images, spreadsheet and database data into documents - 5 Credits
US 29789 - Use a presentation application to produce an interactive multimedia presentation - 3 Credits
US 29788 - Develop, test, and evaluate an interactive website for organisational use - 5 Credits
