NCEA Level 3 Digital Technologies - Programming is designed to prepare students for further study or for entry level roles. The course encompasses the Digital Technologies strand of Computational Thinking (CT).
Some of the assessments in the course are given below:
AS 91906 - Use complex programming techniques to develop a computer program (Internal) - 6 Credits
AS 91907 - Use complex processes to develop a digital technologies outcome (Internal) - 6 Credits
AS 91905 -Use complex techniques to develop a network (Internal) - 6 Credits
AS 91908 - Analyse an area of computer science (External) - 3 Credits
Recommended Prior Learning
Students should have gained at least 12 credits in Level 2 Digital Technologies - Programming, OR gain the approval of the Teacher-in-Charge.
