NCEA Level 3 Earth and Space Science
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Zev Fishman, Lucy Hall.
This course will further develop the skills you learnt in Earth and Space Science, and will explore planet formation, Mars colonisation, ocean systems and have a practical investigation component.
This course will consist of 3 internal assessments and 2 external assessments for a total of twenty (20) Level 3 credits.
Recommended Prior Learning
Students coming from Level 2 Earth and Space Science will need at least 12 credits from Earth and Space Science. Students coming from Level 2 General Science will need to have achieved the Extreme Earth Events external and be subject to teacher approval.
