Year 10 Business Studies
Course Description

This course encompasses the exploration of the key business functional areas of operations management and finance.
Operations management investigates production, quality management, and efficiency, in addition to stock management and resources used to transform raw materials into finished goods.
Finance will encompass both the learning of personal and business finance.
Topics that we will cover include: sources of finance, budgeting, cash management, and investigate the workings of key business financial accounts.
Students will learn how to develop a business product plan, using a prototype and/or a detailed sketch.
