Course Description
Teacher in Charge: K. Aitchison.
This course will build further on technique and performance skills and will give you the opportunity to dance in a number of different dance genres and styles.
You will explore movement through the elements of dance extending your knowledge on the choreographic devices. You will use personal experiences and imagination to express ideas in dance. Students will share and respond to the students' own and others' work.
There may be an opportunity to perform in our Junior Arts Showcase as well as view professional dance.
Course Costs
There may be an opportunity to extend learning with visits to live performances or attend specialist workshops in school (costs TBC).
Students will also require a 1B8 exercise book.
