NCEA Level 1 Biology and Chemistry
Course Description

Students explore the interconnected nature of Biology and Chemistry and take a look into how living organisms interact with the living and non-living parts of their environment.
This course will prepare students for Level 2 Biology and Chemistry. If students are planning on taking Level 2 Physics, or Earth and Space Science, they should also be taking 01SCPES.
Recommended Prior Learning
Students will have completed Year 9 and 10 Science and have shown an interest and aptitude towards topics relating to Chemistry and/or Biology.
